Using graphic novels for conservation storytelling

In this live webinar, we will talk with conservation scientist Tiffany Yap about her debut graphic novel "Tales of the Urban Wild: A Puma's Journey."

Learn about Tiffany's work to protect mountain lions and how she and illustrator Meital Smith came together to tell the story of a young puma in Central California facing habitat loss, poison, dangerous roads, conflict with farm animals, and wildfire. Highlighting California's rich biodiversity, scientists who study wildlife, and communities that live in the urban wildland interface, "Tales of the Urban Wild: A Puma’s Journey" has much to inspire and teach us of a future of resilience, coexistence, and hope.
